The famed Hedley House, with its four acres of landscaped grounds and seaside serenity, has been welcoming travelers since 1948. Not just another motel, Hedley offers bright, airy rooms, equipped with ceiling fans, hardwood floors, private bathrooms, fridges or kitchenettes, cable tv, and private oceandecks facing the sea, sunsets and our sage easily accessible safe, sandy beach (great for nature walks or birding or beachcombing at low tide, the highest in the world).

Each room opens out onto a private deck overlooking the beautiful Bay of Fundy.

Hedley is minutes from the Bay Ferries and downtown Digby, and a short drive from Historic Annapolis Royal with its fine shopping and dining.

In addition we offer a special corporate package complete with breakfast, a light lunch and salmon and steak barbecue or lobster supper in the evening.

Hedley House is located in Smith's Cove - a scenic seaside village in southwestern Nova Scotia. We are only minutes from Digby, one hour from Yarmouth and two hours from Halifax. Smith's Cove is just off Highway 101 - take exit 25 if you are coming from Digby and exit 24 from Halifax.

We serve breakfast to our guests and we have a full kitchen prepared to serve your needs if you book a private function.
