Potrerillos offers ragged beauty, Cordon del Plata is located in the front mountain range. It extends from North to South and is formed by a dense grouping of more than 50 hills form 3.500 to 6.200 m. high. It is a perfect school for ¨high climbing and also a very good experience for those who want to be acclimatized to ascend the Aconcagua.

The Ski Resort Vallecitos has half a dozen trails and ski lift between 2.900 and 3.200 mt. This is the point of departure of expeditions towards the high mountains used by climbers.
