Toucan Rescue Ranch Guesthouse
During a Ranch Experience, you’ll first enjoy lunch and a private tour with one of our knowledgeable guides. You’ll learn about the many rescued animals at our center and see some of the baby sloths. You’ll also view our clinic and learn about the current rescued animals and their stories. After your tour, if you wish, you are invited to help one of our volunteers with some chores at the Ranch.
Before getting cozy for a night’s stay in our guest house you will be invited to enjoy an inclusive dinner with some of the Ranch’s original staff at a nearby restaurant. Then, wakeup to the singing birds of the Ranch the next morning and enjoy a Costa Rican breakfast.
If you're staying for a 2-night experience, after breakfast, you’ll head to our Release Site! The drive is roughly 1-hour and takes you through one of Costa Rica’s largest national parks named the Braulio Carrillo. Once arrived, strap on some boots and accompany a guide through the beautiful jungle, where you will finally reach the liberation site. Here you’ll take a quiet walk and learn about our Release Program and the various projects that we are doing for the rehabilitation and release of rescued wildlife in Costa Rica! Afterwards you’ll drive back to your quiet cabin where you can kick back and relax for the rest of your stay.
The Toucan Rescue Ranch's mission is to rescue, rehabilitate and when possible, release Costa Rican wildlife. TRR works with a model that focuses on conservation, education and research so a brighter tomorrow is promised to the incredible animals of Costa Rica's rainforests.
