Many of the guests who stay at Bellows Mill are businessmen visiting local companies nearby in Leighton Buzzard, Hemel Hempstead, Luton or Dunstable. Members of the London Gliding Club, a mile up the road, also stay regularly, as well as those visiting Woburn Abbey and Whipsnade Zoo.

Dating back to the Domesday Book, the mill was in use until 1955 and had been occupied by the same family for eight generations. The accommodation is situated in the stable block which was converted to 6 ensuite bedrooms rooms in 1986. The Kingfisher suite which was added a year ago, is perfect for honeymooners and especially suitable for those staying several weeks at a time, having a spacious sitting room with a spiral staircase leading upstairs to a large bedroom and bathroom.

Guests staying overnight before flying out of Luton airport have the benefit of five days free car parking and we arrange a taxi service. Parking for longer periods is charged at £5.00 per day.

The Bellows Mill Fishing Society was founded in 1965 and fish for trout in the three artificial lakes and Mill stream. The stream, which forms the country boundary with Bedfordshire and Buckinghamshire, rises in the Chilterns and forms the Ouzel which flows towards Leighton Buzzard and become a tributary of the Ouse.
Guests who enjoy fly fishing are able to purchase day tickets but we do not supply rods.
If you prefer tennis to fishing, you can take advantage of the all weather tennis court.
Golfers have several excellent courses to choose from in the vicinity. They include Ashridge, Mentmore, Woburn, Leighton Buzzard, Dunstable Downs and Whipsnade.
