The Old School House B & B
The Old School House is situated some 6 miles equidistant from the county town of Bedford, the historic town of Kimbolton and the A1 link at St Neots. Cambridge and Milton Keynes are easily accessible.
The villages surrounding Bolnhurst also have a special connection with Glenn Miller whose last fateful flight started locally at Twinwoods. A WWII Airfield trail can be followed from here. Sport enthusiasts can ride at Keysoe College Equestrian Centre, drive at Palmersports at Thurleigh, sail and fish at Grafham, shoot at Sporting Targets or just walk the attractive footpaths in the locality.
The Garden Suite consists of a light and airy double bedroom [Super King size bed or twin bed option], sitting room and en-suite shower and toilet. On the ground floor, the Suite has its own private entrance overlooking the garden and paddocks beyond. A patio area is located outside the French doors from the sitting room, this leads to the shared gardens. The attractively furnished sitting room has a dining area where breakfast is served each morning.
The Suite has colour TV, radio/alarm clock, tea/coffee making facilities, hair dryer and central heating. There are also a large selection of books and magazines together with various board games and a fully up to date local information folder.
A delicious and varied breakfast, sourced from local suppliers wherever possible, is cooked to order.
The Old School House is fortunate to be located in an area where there are several restaurants and good pubs offer meals in the evenings. Again a list is of these is located in both rooms.
