The Accommodation
Each of the Mews rooms consists of a double bedroom with en-suite shower Wet-room, a small 'kitchenette' area, study area with wired internet access and wall mounted wide screen TV.

The rooms are fresh, modern and finished to a high standard; cool in summer, warm in winter with wooden floors and crisp white freshly laundered linen.
The entrance to the Mews B&B accommodation is via a door entry system that gives access to a secure Court Yard. Each of the Mews has its own private access. The Court Yard has courtesy night time lighting and 24 hr recording CCTV.

Westbury Village Amenities
In one direction (SW) Ferndale Mews is a short walk (~500m) from Durdham Downs, some 400 acres of grassland stretching to the edge of the Avon Gorge with great views of The Bristol Suspension Bridge. It is an ideal for taking exercise or relaxing.

At the bottom of Southfield Road (~300m) there is the variety of shops, restaurants and businesses of a busy village.

The Post Office Tavern is a well liked Pub just 200m away from Ferndale Mews, (top of the road turn left) serving food from Noon to 2.30pm and 6pm to 9pm specializing in Pizzas.

Finding Ferndale.

By Road

For people with local knowledge of Bristol.

Southfield Road is opposite Red Maids School in Westbury Road, which is off Falcondale Road. (The A4018)

For new visitors.

Travelling on the M4. Join the M5 at M4 Junction 20/M5 junction 15.

On the M5 leave the Motorway at junction 17 for the A4018. After 3 miles turn left at traffic lights where Westbury-On-Trym Village is sign posted. Take the third exit at the Village War Memorial roundabout into Stoke Lane and second left into Southfield Road.

Ferndale is at No.3A at the top of the hill with large wooden gates.

By Rail

Bristol Temple Meads Train Station is about 25 minutes away. Bristol Parkway and Filton Abbey Wood Stations are about 15 minutes away with Taxi journeys costing approximately £10 each way depending on traffic.

Local Travel
Ferndale Mews is an ideal base for those working away from home at businesses in North Bristol, e.g MOD, British Aerospace, Orange etc

But there is also easy access to the City Centre, Whiteladies Road and Clifton Village. The No.1 Bus route is 100m away at the top of the road, with The Mall at Cribbs Causeway being at one end of it's route and the City Centre and Temple Meads towards the other.

Westbury is served by bus routes 1, 20, 21, 517, 518, 584, 585, 624, N8 and a bus service (X14) also connects Westbury with Chepstow and Newport, South Wales.
