Wonderful countryside and coastal walks. Gillan Beach is only a few minutes drive away with The Helford Estuary about 10 minutes further. The Town of Helston is 15 minutes, Falmouth 30 and Truro 45 minutes.

Please check our website for Places to dine out or places to play Golf and see a few of the beautiful places that West Cornwall and The Lizard peninsula have to offer. We love to drive to Porthcurno on a summers day with a picnic to Pedn Vounder Beach and then take in an evening show at The Minack Theatre.

Pedn Vounder beach is not easily accessible and is therefore very peaceful. No music, no food huts, no mess and few children make it a wonderfully relaxing beach unlike Sennen Cove, Marizion and Porthcurno Beaches.

There are those on the beach who like to bath naked so please do not be offended. Most of them will be locals and will be very friendly and outgoing.

Back home if you wanted to chill out around the house and Garden you are most welcome. Our Heated Outdoor Swimming Pool should be open from around March until October/ November, weather permitting. Our Summer House over looks the Pool and Garden with a lovely view over the countryside towards The Lanarth Estate of some 60,000 acres. From Late January suckling lambs can be seen with their mothers in the fields close to our Cottage.

We offer Wi-Fi Broadband to those who find it difficult to leave the hussle & bussle of working life behind as well as Freeview TV in your Double Bedded Room.

Should you not wish to stray far and wanted to dine with us at home later in the evening we can offer tradition English/Cornish style meals with pudding at £25 per head. The meal will be the same meal we would be eating ourselves and can be taken with us at the dining table or privately on a tray in your room if requested.

Some of our best friends are VEGETARIAN and we can accommodate you too provided you let us know at the time of your booking enquiry.

We are dog friendly but if your dog is not particularly sociable with other dogs we may have to decline bookings. Our own Golden Retrievers come first!
