Adam Place was built in the nineteenth century from traditional Lakeland slate, and has been sympathetically renovated to the highest standards of comfort whilst ensuring you of a pleasant stay and the warmest of welcomes.

Each of our rooms has fully en-suite facilities, with a shower, WC and washbasin. Colour television and hospitality trays.

Our dining room is presented with white dining covers with matching crockery, and offers a wide choice menu to choose from. We have a selection of fruit juices, fresh fruit, prunes, grapefruit and mandarin segments and cereals to start with, followed by the choice of traditional, vegetarian or continental breakfast, all freshly cooked and served to your taste.

We also offer lighter options for the not so hungry. Tea and coffee, wholemeal or white bread or toast, hot crumpets or muffins to compliment your breakfast.

We have an award winning guest garden and sun terrace, which you can relax in whilst reflecting on the natural beauty and scenery of the Lake District. Linda will be only too happy to discuss your holiday requirements in a pleasant and friendly manner, whether you wish to book excursions on the many tours we have available or enquiring about local events etc.

Windermere is an ideal location to explore the lakes from, as we are known as the capital of the lakes, there are many things to do on our doorstep, from lake cruises, hill walking, Beatrix potter museum, hilltop home of miss potter, steamboat museum. Water sports, steam railway and various other activities.

There is a wide range of dining experiences available from traditional, Chinese, Greek, Indian, Italian and gourmet dining all nearby. we have a fine selection of old worlde style pubs, many of whom serve traditional pub grub.

Adam Place is within walking distance of train and bus stations, lake and all local amenities. further afield there are many great places of interest and villages to visit. Keswick, Grasmere, Coniston, Hawkshead and Ambleside are all easily accessible. Whilst further afield are many major towns worth visiting.
