For the safety of our guests, Rivendell is a non-smoking guesthouse. Smoking is permitted in the garden.

Comprehensive fire alarm and emergency lights throughout.

All of our rooms are en suite with either a bath or power shower or combination of both, with TV, and tea and coffee making facilities. All double beds are super king size offering exceptional comfort. In the refurbishment of the house we have retained the original features retaining all the charm and character of this beautiful Victorian building and still giving top quality en suite facilities.

The pressurised water supplied to all rooms is rising main and suitable for drinking.

The whole house is centrally heated and has thermostatically controlled radiators in each bedroom. There is an open fire in the guest lounge, video and DVD player, board games and books.

Please note that rooms 7-8-9 are on the second floor.

Our Double Superior room benefits from a Luxurious Super king Size bed and quality solid pine furniture. Equipped with Flat Screen TV clock radio alarm, well stocked hospitality tray. Luxury towels are provided along with extra pillows and blankets.

The room is centrally heated with thermostatically controlled radiators. The décor is of a high standard and calm colours. The en suite is fitted out with a thermostatically controlled power shower and is fitted out to the highest standard.

All of the Twin rooms have Luxurious full size single beds and quality solid pine furniture. Each room is equipped with Flat screen TV, clock radio alarm, well stocked hospitality tray. Quality towels are provided along with extra pillows and blankets.
