The Nurturing Place

My name is Serenna and in Nov 2006 I bought a large cottage in a quiet Dorset hamlet where I would love people to come to Replenish, Recuperate, Recharge and Rest.

The Nurturing Place is in the heart of Thomas Hardy country, surrounded by thatched cottages, a medieval church and rolling green hills.

The house is 4 miles from Dorchester and 8 miles form Weymouth

Your Stay

The Nurturing Place has three double bedrooms available for guests.

Two double rooms with private bathroom and one master bedroom ensuite

All rooms have views of the downs, drink-making facilities and fluffy dressing gowns.
There are no TV's in the rooms but you are welcome to use the sitting room for TV/DVD, reading or meditation.

The garden is set in a quarter of an acre. It is well maintained with a large lawn. mature trees and flowering borders.

Private Parking area.

Meals are taken together in the dining room. Organic and local produce is used wherever possible. There is a large comfortable sitting room with a wood burning stove.

Aromatherapy massage is available

Master Bedroom £60 double occupancy and £45 for single occupancy.

Standard Bedroom £50 double occupancy and £35 single occupancy.

Directions

The Nurturing Place is situated 4 miles form Dorchester just off the A35 on the Dorchester to Bridport road. There are 3 hamlets on one straight road. Winterbourne Abbas,Winterbourne Steepleton and Martinstown. Winterbourne Steepleton is in the middle.
