Just a couple of miles away is the picturesque shopping town of Lymington (cobblestone streets, bustling marinas and river including ferry link to the Isle of Wight). Lymington has an all day Saturday market, busy high street shops, coastal walks and plenty of pubs/restaurants catering for all tastes.
The village of Everton has its own shop/PO and a public house with an excellent reputation for food. From Glenhurst you can enjoy peaceful woodland walks into open farmland and on out to the New Forest or explore south to the beach (2 miles) and the fishing villages of Keyhaven and Milford -on - Sea.
Activities and amenities close to Glenhurst include the bird sanctuary and nature reserve at Keyhaven, historic Hurst Castle dating from Henry VIII's time, the many attractions of the Isle Of Wight, Beaulieu Motor Museum, Bucklers Hard, the New Forest National Park with its wild ponies and deer, extensive walks and cycle ways, horse riding, fishing, sailing, safe sandy beaches, golf and bicycle hire.
You will be welcomed into one of our light and airy double/twin rooms each with en-suite, colour TV and hot drink making facilities. On warm sunny mornings enjoy a coffee al fresco listening to the birds.
Choose from our extensive menu for a full English breakfast with vegetarian options or a continental breakfast. Homemade preserves from fruit trees in the garden, homemade bread, home-grown eggs (mostly) and large portions are a feature.
