Old Dads Barn Bed & Breakfast
Welcome to Old Dads Barn B and B set in the heart of the Ribble Valley. The barn has recently been converted into B & B accommodation so the rooms are all of an excellent standard. We are a small family run bed and breakfast with four lovely en-suite rooms, all very well equipped.
The property is set in 21 acres of grazing land and is approximately 780ft above sea level offering probably some of the best views of the Ribble valley and amazing sunsets. We are located in the quiet village of Mellor which is within 5 minutes of both the M65 & M6 thereafter you are in easy reach of Manchester, Merseyside, Lancaster, the Lake District, Blackpool, Southport, Lytham and St Annes.
Also on the farm we have a flower shop selling top quality cut flowers gifts and cards and a plant nursery selling seasonal bedding plants and hanging baskets.
All the rooms are equipped with TV, tea and coffee making facilities with hot chocolate and horlicks.
There is ample secure parking and we can also provide a locked garage for bicycles and motorbikes. The entrance to the farm and front of B & B is covered by 24hr-recorded CCTV.
The B & B is run by Barry & Diana who will freshly prepare and cook your fabulous full English breakfast all with local produce. Barry and Diana try to cater for all tastes so if you would like an alternative just ask and they will do their best. Diana has lived on the farm since she was 2 when the farm was run by her father, which had mainly cattle as most farms did but it later diversified to livery for horses, which remains to this day.
The local area has plenty of great places to eat and drink, just ask and we will point you in the right direction.
