The Royal Oak Inn is a charming 17th century building with stone walls, oak panelling and heavily beamed ceilings. It nestles in the picturesque Lincolnshire Countryside, yet conveniently placed for the A1 trunk road.

The bar atmosphere has an intrinsic warm feel where strangers and locals are greeted alike. The inn as a separate restaurant that seats up to 50 people. And is ideal for private parties, conferences, weddings or just a cosy table for two in a quiet corner. Also meals can be taken in the bar area. Or even in our pretty child friendly beer garden (weather permitting of course) be it a bar snack or main meal.

There is a good selection of fine wines and real ales to offer the thirsty traveller! Our meals served are all tasty home cooking where emphasis is on quality and value. Plus also we a serve a selection Danish food, as the landlord is a Danish chef been living in England for 21 years!

A discreet games room runs off the bar area providing pool and darts. Our letting rooms are spacious and comprise of 2 x double, 2 x twin and 1 x family sleeping 4/5. Also 1 x suite sleeping 2/4.

All our rooms have en-suite facilities, tea/ coffee, and colour television. Set in rural Lincolnshire. Prices are charged at per room and includes full English breakfast or something lighter if preferred, we can be found 3 miles off the A1, ( app 1 mile south of Colsterworth) or follow the A151 Colsterworth to Bourne (signed) with plenty of pleasant country walks. Ideally situated for Grantham, Stamford & Peterborough, also Grimsthorpe Castle, Belvoir Castle and Belton House.
