Farmhouse Annexe B&B
We have converted the end of the Farmhouse into a separate annexe which is now available on a BandB basis.
On two floors, connected by a private staircase, the annexe includes a TV lounge / diner over looking the gardens and courtyard, and a double bedroom upstairs with ensuite luxury shower room.
There are full tea and coffee making facilities with a private fridge for fresh milk/wine etc.
Breakfast can be taken in either the private dining area or the family farmhouse Kitchen.
We normally provide a range of cereals, fruit juices, tea/fresh coffee followed by a full English breakfast including award winning locally produced sausages and our own fresh eggs, toast and a selection of preserves.
However, if you have any special requirements or requests please do not hesitate to ask and we will endeavour to meet your needs.
Lodge Farm, 4 miles north of historic Stamford, situated 100 miles north of London, just off the A1, which was the old Great North Road leading to York and Edinburgh.
Situated on a hill top with views of rolling countryside, fields and forests to all four aspects, it is the ideal location for a get away from it all holiday or short break.
The peace and tranquillity that surround the cottages helps you to unwind away from the pressures and stresses of day to day living.
Stone outbuildings which are believed to date back to the eighteenth century have been sympathetically restored and tastefully converted retaining many original features to provide luxury accommodation furnished to a very high standard.
Since we moved to Lodge Farm we have been developing our version of the good life.
We are both very keen gardeners, and our target is to develop a haven for wildlife around the farm house. Deer, badgers, and a whole host of beautiful birds are all regular visitors. (Including a family of woodpeckers!)
In addition to our own eggs & honey, we also offer a range of fresh fruit and vegetables from the gardens and orchard. (Subject to season and availability.)
What could be better than freshly collected eggs for breakfast?
