Parklands B&B (bed and breakfast) is situated in a quiet tree lined street close to Tooting Bec Common. The underground is 20 minutes journey time into Bank or Green Park and is a 10 -12 minute walk through the park and down the main Tooting Bec Road. There is a bus service 30 seconds from the house direct to Tooting Broadway for those not wishing to walk. A minicab is £5.00 to either Tooting Bec underground or Balham underground/BR.

Parklands is situated in the popular borough of Wandsworth in S W London and is close to Wimbledon for the Lawn Tennis Championships held each year in June and for art lovers the privately owned Dulwich Picture Gallery containing paintings by the great Masters Caneletto and Hogarth.

Being beside the park is excellent for joggers, and walkers and swimmers as there is Tooting Bec Lido, the largest outdoor pool in Europe used by tri-athletes throughout the year.

Close by is Clapham where there are specialist boutique shops, galleries and speciality food shops as well as the ever popular Northcote Road with is buzzing Saturday street and framer's markets and the wonderful Antique emporium near the library in Northcode Road. Many popular bars, cafes and trendy restaurants are situated around these areas and we have our own Michellin Starred restaurant 'Chez Bruce'. There are also many Gastro Pubs that are affordable where families relax at the weekends.
