Kandara Guest House

A family run guest house close to the Angel Islington offering quality bed and breakfast.

The guest house is located in a quiet residential road with free overnight street parking (some daytime restrictions apply).

Kandara is registered with the English Tourism Board and AA Their inspectors have awarded Kandara 3 STARS.

10 bus routes, 2 tube stations and 2 rail stations provide excellent public transport to both the City and West End of London - 24 hours a day. Tube stations: Angel and Highbury & Islington. Rail stations: Essex Road and Canonbury. Just 1.5 miles from Euston staion, St. Pancras station (the new International Terminal) and Kings Cross Station (73 and 476 bus routes direct to Kandara).

The guest house is completely non smoking.

All bedrooms have recently been redecorated and furnished.

All bedrooms have a wash-basin, colour television and tea and coffee amking facilities.

Bathrooms are shared. We have 12 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms (each with shower and toilet) plus 2 extra toilets. On average this means that each bathroom is shared by just 3 guests!

Islington, kown as real London is famous for its huge variety of shops, restaurants, bars, theatres and places of interest.

From the Angel underground station, take a number 38, 56, 73, 341 or 476 bus to the last bus stop on Essex Road. Other local bus services: 21, 30, 76, 141, 277.

Other local stations: Highbury and Islington station, Canonbury station and Essex Road staion.
