Tower Cottage
Tower Cottage is a charming, 18th century flint house situated opposite the imposing parish church in the award winning village of Winterton-on-Sea, 8 miles from Great Yarmouth.
The atmosphere is friendly and relaxed and guests are made to feel at home.
A special feature of the cottage is the attractive conservatory with three impressive grapevines producing copious amounts of fruit every year.
Breakfast is served on separate tables, amongst the vines in summer and for winter use there is a snug dining room. Full English breakfast, with various options, includes a buffet starter of fruit compote, yoghurt, cereals, juices etc. and home made preserves. Vegetarians catered for.
The cottage retains many of its original features. The old dairy has pamment floors, typical of a Norfolk dwelling of this era and there are exposed timbers and flints.
The cottage garden is well established with numerous shrubs, trees, a patio area and a herbaceous border. Guests are welcome to make use of the garden furniture.
There is private parking in the drive.
