Come visit our beautiful town of Northallerton, were Charles 1 stayed as a guest in 1640. We are a family run business and have recently re-furbished our 1860 Town house bed and breakfast. We are 2 minutes walk away from the Town centre and all local amenities, Rail, County Hall, County records, Northallerton Hospital. Town markets come twice weekly and farmers market monthly.
15 minutes drive from Thirsk races and James Herriot country. Central to A19 andA1 which takes you to the beautiful Dales and Moors. Visit the many Yorkshire Houses, Castles, Gardens ad museums. Fountains Abbey & Studley Royal Water Garden is only a 25 minute drive, to capture the breathtaking 500 wild deer and a wealth of flora and fauna.
Sample the local breweries ale in Masham, which is open to the public.
Go back in time and visit Beamish, stop telling the kids 'when I was your age' show them all the things you did and shouldn't of done when you were younger. Show the youth of today the things you played with when you were a child and compare with those of today.
There are many walk trails and bike trails, which are very popular.
There is a wealth of fine food and ales in Northallerton, from the hot and spicey food (Aroma restaurant) in Zetland St which has won many awards for it Indian and Thai cuisine to the local Cafe again winning the top award for Hambleton.
A visit to Northallerton isn't complete without an afternoon tea from Betty's, known throughout the North for it's many delicate delights.
