Enjoy a full English breakfast with fresh fruit, cereals, toast with marmalade, jam and honey. The Travellers Rest, a friendly, local village pub which serves evening meals, is only a 'stonesthrow' away.

Stonesthrow is a non-smoking Bed and Breakfast, which has well appointed, comfortable bedrooms with tea/coffee facilities, colour television, hairdryers and full central heating.

Off-road parking with a garage available for use if you require. Children eight and over are welcome. Sorry, no pets.

Stonesthrow also has a field just beyond the garden fence where we keep around 40 sheep. We breed these Pure Texels as a hobby and show them at local agricultural shows where they have won us many rosettes.

Guests are more than welcome to pet them and help feed the lambs during the lambing season.

The Lake District is only one hour away with the Settle to Carlise Train Route.
We are less than one hour to the nearest beach for those sunny summer days.
