The Station House
The Station House is a converted railway station on the former Scarborough to Whitby railway line. We now offer quality en-suite bed and breakfast accommodation based in and around the old station buildings.
Set in half an acre of beautiful gardens, this country station has been extensively renovated. It still retains the atmosphere of the past keeping open fires in three rooms, including the breakfast room. This is an ideal base for exploring the dramatic North Yorkshire coastline and the stunning 'Heartbeat' countryside of the North York Moors as well as the historic seaside town of Scarborough.
The Station House offers bed and breakfast accommodation with the best of home cooking and hospitality within the converted station building. All bedrooms have en-suite facilities with colour TV and tea and coffee making facilities.
One of the double bedrooms is set in what once was the old covered yard. The Ticket Office, Porter's Room and Gent's washroom have also been completely refurbished to provide a double en-suite room, with adjoining bedroom which sleeps a further two people.
We are situated in the picturesque village of Cloughton, just outside Scarborough, which is the perfect location to explore the North York Moors National Park whilst still having easy access to the town centre's shops and amenities.
Bed and Breakfast accommodation is available all year round at competitive prices and although we don't do evening meals, The Station House Tea Room is open from 10.30am until 5.00pm Saturday, Sunday, Monday and Tuesday all year round where we will be happy to serve you with home made food.
