Our Restaurant offers a good variety of Fresh, quality food yet reasonably priced as we understand, when after a day touring around, it can be wearing and it is nice to have a relaxing meal to end the day. Perhaps finish the evening enjoying a cool drink on our patio, when the night skies can be amazing, the sunsets and sunrises spectacular.

Quiet nights and comfortable beds with soft sheets, ensure a much needed good night's sleep.

In the morning, start the day with our hearty breakfast, where there is a choice to suit everyone. We do provide a Vegetarian Menu.

We are situated just 5 minutes from Rothbury and 20 minutes from Alnwick, on the edge of the National Park, an area of outstanding beauty. Hadrians Wall and Holy Island are about a half hours drive and we would suggest taking a Boat Trip around the Farne Islands, the only way to see the Seal Colony, Birds and Wildlife.

Close to the Pennine Way, this area is a walking and Cycling heaven and bikes can be hired locally. There are organised Walks throughout the area.

Some of the best events are in Northumberland, with the Villages holding their own shows, still displaying the crafts carried on for centuries. Music is so much a part of Northumberland and there are many Festivals, such as the Brinkburn Festival in July.

Some of the best fishing is in Northumberland and locally, there is the Caistron Nature Reserve and Trout Fishing lake, quite beautiful.

Castles and Gardens, Stately Homes and a breathtaking Coastline, where Fishing Villages still bring in the catches and Castles sit on the cliffs, some they say, haunted.
Northumberland is steeped in History, many battles fought here adding to its' mystery.
