Cutthorne
Cutthorne
Your peace of the countryside
Found tucked away in a private valley, deep in the rugged heart of the glorious Exmoor countryside, Cutthorne is a delightful country house with a rare tranquility that is truly off the beaten track.
At the centre of this 25-acre estate is the impressive Georgian farmhouse, the home of Ann and Philip Durbin and their family.
Still retaining much of its original character and charm, Ann and Philip offer superb Bed and Breakfast accommodation in a choice of three ensuite guest rooms, furnished in a manner in keeping with the age of the building.
As well as setting guests up for the day with a lavish breakfast, Ann also prepares delicious candlelit dinners - the perfect end to a perfect day.
Alternatively stay in one of the charming cottages that are let either on a self catering basis, or with meals in the farmhouse. These have been converted from two of the ancient stone outbuildings - and provide space and privacy.
Cutthorne has much to offer as there are medieval trout ponds where fly fishing can be arranged, fantastic countryside on the doorstep and is a quiet secluded base to enjoy the beauty of Exmoor.
