Double-Gate Farm is situated in a pleasant position on the Somerset Levels, with fine views to the Mendip Hills.

Only 5 miles from the beautiful City of Wells and 3 miles from Glastonbury, legendary home of King Arthur and renowned for its mysticism.

Although central to most attractions (Bath, Cheddar Gorge, Wookey Hole Caves, Weston-Super-Mare, etc.) means of self transport is essential and free parking space is provided.

Evening meals are available at the village inn, and from a large choice of country inns in close proximity. Children are well catered for in these establishments.

Double-Gate is a comfortable listed Georgian Farmhouse on a mixed farm. Breakfast comprises a selection of fruit, cereals, juice, yogurt, compote and local cheeses.

Choose from eight main courses ranging from a traditional full English breakfast of local bacon, egg, tomato etc. .. to mouth watering Scottish pancakes with fresh fruit and golden syrup; or try our posh bangers!

All accompanied by our delicious homemade bread.

All bedrooms en-suite, colour TV/DVD, extra blankets, hairdryers, full central heating and complimentary tea and coffee amenities.

Comfortable guest lounge with colour television and free internet access. Games room with full size snooker table, table tennis, darts and a large selection of information.

Children welcome and you come and go as you please. Emphasis is on our guests having a relaxing holiday in comfortable and pleasant surroundings.

A friendly welcome awaits you and we try to make your stay a comfortable and happy one. Rooms ready on day of arrival from 4pm.
Family pets include our golden retrievers Jasper-Pilchards and Paddy4paws; two moggies, Laid-Back-Jack and Miss Jessops!

Jack, very handy at falling down stairs when asleep. Jessie, intent on getting a free holiday by hitching-hiking, otherwise to be found late at night in the village pub.

Breakfast at 8.30am. In Summertime, weather permitting, breakfasts are served in the garden.
