The Bulls Head Inn, Alton, Staffs

Situated in the heart of Alton Village, our 17th Century inn offers a friendly atmosphere with a log fire, home cooking, and real ale.

Within one mile of Alton Towers theme park, close to the Peak District and the Potteries in Staffordshire, this beautiful inn is a perfect place to stay, eat or just enjoy a drink during a day or weekend out. We have seven en-suite bedrooms comprising of 4 double rooms, a twin room, a family room and a family suite.
All rooms have colour TV, tea and coffee making facilities and are decorated in a traditional country style.

The public bar is decorated in traditional 'olde-worlde' style with genuine oak beams and Inglenook fireplace. Leading from the bar area is the 'snug' , a small cosy seating area where children may sit.

Our restaurant has recently been refurbished with a slate foor and pine furniture giving it a 'country farmhouse' atmosphere with seating for 30 peoples.
In addition, our new chef has introduced a tasty new menu with homemade specials together with our 'a la carte' menu. Children are catered for with their own special menu which is available at all mealtimes.
