Luxury bed & breakfast in Lavenham
Two large luxurious rooms with great period feel in a 16th Century timber framed house near the centre of Lavenham.
Our King size beds have fabulously comfortable memory foam mattresses with Egyptian cotton linen bedding, as are soft white towels. The rooms have stripped solid wood floor and door, and are equipped with quality furnishings, bathrobes, tea and coffee making facilities, a hairdryer, a safe, mini fridge and a flat screen TV.
The large bathroom has a gorgeous dark stained wooden floor and white fittings. It comes with a clawfoot bath and a huge wonderful Aqualisa shower with a nine-inch rain head, limestone mosaic tiling and heavy Matki sliding door. Please note that although the bathroom is shared between the rooms, this has never proved a problem since we just agree timings in advance. There is of course a separate wc and one of the rooms has a basin.
Breakfast is served either in the conservatory, or the garden. We offer a continental or full cooked breakfast with your choice of eggs (our salmon and scrambled eggs is popular!), toast with a selection of Bonne Maman conserves and Frank Cooper marmalade, porridge, quality fruit juices, cafetiere coffee, tea (including fruit teas) and a fresh fruit platter. Bacon, sausages, eggs and bread are all locally sourced. We buy all our ingredients to order for you so you have the breakfast you want, rather than being bound by what we have in.
Twenty Seven is a non-smoking house, however an ashtray and seating is provided for smokers in the garden. All guests are welcome to make use of the large, south-facing, landscaped gardens. In the room you'll find a guide to the village, and naturally we'll be happy to advise you on where to go, what to see, and where to shop and eat.
We also provide a card which will give you a 10% discount on all food and drink in Lavenham's best eating place, The Swan, throughout your stay.
Rooms are £70 per night.
