Longbourn is a traditional Sussex family home in the small village of Plaistow that offers a warm, friendly and high-quality bed and breakfast in a beautiful, spacious and extremely comfortable en-suite room.

Accommodation is separate to the main house in the Warren Room on a B&B basis with a fresh, tailor-made breakfast to suit you and served in the luxury of your own room. Eggs are from our own hens. The Warren Room is a beautifully-appointed, self-contained and very private guest suite. It is light and spacious and the king size bed has a wonderfully-soft, goose-down duvet with crisp white linen. The en-suite bathroom has both a bath (for a long, luxurious soak) and separate shower with complimentary toiletries and soft white towels.

Set deep in the Sussex countryside, Longbourn is the perfect place to relax and unwind. Plaistow itself is a quintessential West Sussex village full of character and charm and is off the beaten track.

As we are on the border of Sussex and Surrey and also very close to Hampshire, we are ideally situated for a wide variety of events that take place throughout the year. Places of interest include Petworth House and Park and local antique shops, Arundel Castle and Cathedral, Chichester Cathedral, Parham House and Gardens and Losely Park. There are local craft centres and wine tasting in nearby Lurgashall village.

For a total relaxing weekend, we have teamed up with the luxurious Armana Spa at the Lythe Hill Hotel, Haslemere for special packages tailormade to suit you. For a special treat or simply to have a relaxing half day pamper before you go out in the evening, why not spoil yourself with a manicure and pedicure after relaxing in the Spa?

There are also many activities to take part in around the area including beautiful walks, canal boat trips, hot air ballooning, cycling, clay pigeon shooting, fishing and of course easy access to the South Downs National Park.

If it is a spot of retail therapy you are after, there are wonderful boutiques in Petworth and Cranleigh and the larger shopping centres of Guildford and Chichester.

There are many local events that take place throughout the year too such as the 'world famous' Plaistow Easter Egg scramble, local fairs, Loxwood Beer Festival, open gardens, fireworks displays and open air concerts.
