Rook Residence is a friendly and clean home away from home. We offer a comfortable bed and tasty breakfast for a decent price.

We are located in the village of Shelf, halfway between Bradford and Halifax which are 3 miles either way. About 45 minutes drive from Leeds Bradford Airport and 1 hour drive from Manchester Airport.

Leave M62 at junction 26, follow M606 to roundabout 2nd exit A6036, follow until you get to Calderdale then into Shelf, you'll see Interface (a carpet mill) to your left directly there after is a fork in the road, take the right and you are on Shelf Hall Lane, Rook Residence is on the left opposite Broadingsway.

Get off the bus at Bridlestile or Village hall in Shelf. Rook Residence is a 3 minute walk from the bus stop.

Places of interest around us are Eureka and Shibden Hall in HX, the multi media museum in BD, the Worth Valley railway, The Bronte house in Haworth. Ogden moor and wind farm.

The Calderdaleway and Bronteway walking routes both pass Rook Residence. Also there are stables close by on Pepper Hill.

We have 3 rooms to let: 1 twin ensuite and 2 doubles sharing the house bathroom. All rooms are let as singles too.

All rooms have washbasins, colour TV, radio alarm clock, tea and coffee making facilities.

For business people; we are at close distance to Yorkshire Water offices, Interface carpet mill, Marshalls stone.
