Cricket Field House is a modernised 19th century game keepers cottage, situated it its own large garden with wonderful views of the village church and South Wilts Cricket Ground.
Each of the 14 bedrooms both in the main house and the pavilion annex are decorated and furnished individually. All equipped with TV, Coffee tray, hair dryer and full en-suite. Six rooms are on the ground floor.
Ideal location to visit Stone Henge, Salisbury Cathedral, Avebury Iron age Fort of old Sarum remains of an Roman Villa at Rockbourne, old Wardour Castle, some of Britain's most beautiful Stately Homes including Breamore House, Longleat Safari Park, and the Earl of Pembroke Home, Wilton House, Stourhead.
Also within easy driving of the New Forest, Winchester Bath and Southampton.
On the Sport and Leisure side the Wiltshire Cycleway takes in some mangnificent scenery with options ranging from 70 to 100 miles.
The Woodford Valley circuit combines charming riverside villages with old Sarum and Stonehenge, while a delightful trip along the Wylye Valley and Grovely Ridge offers long or short options. Long distance walkers will enjoy the 34 miles Avon Valley Path linking Salisbury Cathedral with Christchurch Priory.
