We are just a few miles from Bath - the world heritage city, (there is a regular bus service every half hour from Corsham into Bath) where you can enjoy the classic architecture of a World Heritage City. Visit the re-furbished Roman Baths (you can now 'do as the Romans did') by paying to take a dip and relax in the heated spa waters. Visit the famous pump room and take tea whilst being entertained on the grand piano. Other attractions are the costume museum and the 'Making of Bath' museum followed of course by an open bus tour of the City
Stay with Heather and Peter in their family home and enjoy good food and a warm welcome!
Everyone must visit Stonehenge once in their lifetime to get a feel for ancient Britain.
You can visit several National Trust properties locally. You will be ideally situated for visiting Avebury with its magical stone circle its manor and garden; Stourhead gardens created by Capability Brown, Lacock Abbey and Lacock Village with its Olde Worlde timber framed houses, Mompesson House and gardens
Walkers You will enjoy the local walk at Corsham Park. There are also good walks at Staverton Farm and Lenton Form both within easy reach.
Golf Your B&B accommodation is close to several golf courses at Whitley,Kingsdown, Chippenham, Bath and Calne just to name a few
Families You will enjoy a visiting nearby Bowood Manor open from April 1st onward
Landscape of Wiltshire and Somerset is a magnet for those of you who love bird watching, photography or painting.
