The city offers a great many attractions in the way of arts, culture and retail. From the magnificence of the ancient cathedral, Friar Street with its Tudor half-timbered shops and historic alms houses to factory outlets at the Royal Worcester porcelain factory. For the museum minded there is the George Marshall Medical Museum at the Worcestershire Royal Hospital (5 minutes by car), or for the energetic there are peaceful walks along the river and canal; guided walking tours of the city and evening ghost walks between September and April. Leaflets are available for these and many other attractions.
Eating out in Worcester offers many and varied locations. Ten minutes walk from Holland House is The Little Sauce Factory run by Ready, Steady, Cook chef, David Thatcher. It offers a range of European dishes. For Italian cuisine Benedicto's is just a further 5 minutes away nestling below the Cathedral. If your tastes are more exotic a walk down Friar Street will provide Chinese, Thai, Portuguese and Mexican.
