Within five minutes drive is Ladies Mile Beach, Fassouri Water Park and Kolossi Castle (where Richard the Lionheart married Berengaria).

Within a short drive there are golf courses, horse riding facilities, water sports and historical sites (Curium, Amathus).

Two tavernas and a village pub are within walking distance.

The city of Limassol is approximately 15 minutes drive, where there are a selection of modern designer shops alongside more traditional shops selling baskets, copper and lace. The old town of Limassol is worth discovering and many of the buildings are being sympathetically restored. Several good restaurants are opening up around the Limassol Castle square.

Drive further along the coast road, past the old town and you will reach the 'tourist area' known for its clubs, bars and night life.

In under an hour, drive to the walled city of Nicosia, the capital of Cyprus, to visit the Cyprus Museum and where it is possible to cross to the occupied north of the island.

Paphos, to the west of the island can be reached in 40 minutes. Stroll around the harbour and visit the House of Dionyssis to see the beautiful mosaics.

In summer, a drive to the mountain areas brings a cool respite from the heat and the opportunity to see monasteries, enjoy wonderful views and appreciate a slower pace of life.
