Will appeal to active country lovers, some features of our property that will appeal to some guests e.g our horses with powerful electric fencing, our three dogs who are part of the family, the pool and a deep fish pond probably make it unsafe for children.
Local activities
Great area for history, fishing, cycling, walking, riding, markets. Events take place in villages most of the year, exhibitions, wine, and food.
There are some fine restaurants and bars serving excellent food with reasonably priced menus. There are swimming lakes nearby some of them have beach facilities, or for the more adventurous try canoeing along the river Isle at Brantome which is only 40minutes away. Go karting is also available within a 20minute drive.
Within the surrounding area there is an abundance of lakes, chateaus, and wonderful forest trails for walking and riding. You can even follow the route Richard The Lion Heart took on his crusade over 800 years ago.
