Lou Peyrou is a stunning stone house, overlooking the river Dourdou and the ancient pilgrims bridge. Conques village is only five minutes walk from the house either by road, or the spectacular pilgrims cobbled path.

We offer two serenely furnished rooms, one double and a twin room.
Between the two rooms is the bathroom/toilet, with a lovely, large corner bath/shower.

There is a sweet balcony off the landing, where you are welcome to sit, read one of our many books and admire the views. The bird life is amazing!
Breakfasts are large and as organic as possible. Freshly squeezed orange juice, croissants, toast, cereals, yoghurts and fresh coffee or tea.

Evening meals by arrangement. We can cater for veggies etc, just let us know.

Airport transport possible. We have a pottery studio and invite you to try your hand!! If you have an interest in painting or photography, you will love this place!

We can also put you in touch with horse riding or fishing places, all very nearby.
Conques is a major point on The Santiago de Compostella Pilgrim route, and home to some wonderful treasures, housed in a vault, next to the famous abbey church.
Conques hosts many musical events throughout the summer months.

Cafes, artists workshops, timbered buildings, the place is brimming full of atmosphere.
6 kms towards Grand Vabre, the small river Dourdou meets the giant Lot river. The river side drive towards Estaing and Espallion is well worth a try. Stop for coffee in Estaing and find the lovely back streets. Water sports are on offer locally.

There are numerous markets in the area and Rodez offers a good selection of shops, museums and nightlife.

From our home you can see stunning views and watch the pilgrims crossing the old bridge as they make their way to the small chapel in the hill opposite.
Rodez airport has daily flights to Stansted with Ryanair. The flight takes an hour and forty minutes. Car hire can be booked through Ryanair.

Lou Peyrou is a perfect base for sightseeing or house-hunting, and we would be glad to help in any way we can. Sadly the house is not suitable for children, as we have several balconies and steep steps in the garden.
