B&B Fiocco di Neve

The B&B Fiocco di Neve is due of a will of lodge who desire to live some days in an ancient house near the historical centre of Calizzano. The owners are two young who are decided to open their house for people who love an homely welcome, bringing out the peaceful background.

The house is a stone building made at least 200 years ago and restructured keeping the original structure, privileging the employment of typical materials (wood, stone) and alternative energies (firewood heating and solar energy). The signs of burning, visible into the house, make you think that the initially it was a teccio, a drying room for the chestnuts.

The B&B offers at tits guests 3 double bedrooms, one with twin beds. Two bedrooms can lodge 4 persons, the other can lodge 2 persons and one child. The bedrooms have a little living room and private bathroom.

The furnishings, made of wood and wrought iron, are simple and accurate. The bed clothes includes hand-embroidered materials, a part of ancient trousseau. We have recuperated the original floors (graniglia floors) and we have preserved the architectural peculiarities of ancient country houses.

The breakfast are always abundant and include typical and handicraft food. The gluttons will be certainly conquered by ring-shaped cakes, jam tarts, biscuits, jam, honey, different kinds of fruit juices, milk, tea and coffee. And some more: bread, butter, ham, salami, cheese…and fresh fruit at will!

Do you like finding mushrooms? On autumn the B&B is open for lodge you! …May be you could have some advice for return home whit a bag full of mushrooms!
