Rural Guesthouse, ideal for visiting both Granada & Cordoba

Accommodation

There are three letting bedrooms all with en-suite shower room and coffee/tea making facilities. Two are twin/double rooms; the third is a family room sleeping up to four in a double and two single beds. Smoking is not permitted within the building.

Tariff - Double/twin rooms 44 Euros. Family room 4 persons 64 Euros. These prices are per room and include continental or full English breakfast. The rooms are on the first floor & unfortunately do not have wheelchair access.

The guest lounge is perfect for relaxing at the end of the day where the surrounding views can be appreciated from the balcony. Guests have the use of a microwave, fridge, gas barbeque and honesty bar.

Outside space comprises an enclosed cobbled courtyard and a terrace to the front of the building from which to enjoy the magnificent views of the Sierra Ahillo in the distance.

Our nearest towns

Fuente Tojar is only 4 kms from the guesthouse where you will find a selection of bars, friendly local shops, banks plus a swimming pool with a restaurant and bar. Priego de Cordoba, 12 kms away, is approached via a picturesque gorge. Here you will find banks, shops, bars and restaurants. The town has narrow streets and delightful squares and is famous for its Baroque architecture.

The wider area

The coast is only a 90 minutes drive by car.
Granada, with the Alhambra is 55 minutes away. Please note that the Alhambra has to be booked in advance and can be done over the internet.
Cordoba, is 50 minutes away. A beautiful city, were you can visit the Mezquita - the ancient mosque - which is one of Spain's most unusual buildings.
The Sierra Nevada is approx 100 minutes away, with skiing in winter and walking in the summer.
The area is also ideal for cyclists and walkers.

Airports

Granada Airport is 60 minutes away and Malaga Airport is 95 minutes. Flights are available from all major UK airports and also many European destinations. Car Hire can be pre-booked and is advisable.
