Casa Rural El Brocal Bed & Breakfast in the countryside

Only 4 rooms, (3 of them are double with 1 big bed-50€/night and 1 is a triple room-65€/night with 1 big bed and a single bed -taxes and breakfast included) We have some babies facilities

The house is very quiet, and the village, Fresno de Rodilla is very small.
Burgos city is only 15 minutes away by road and it is easy to reach several neighbouring hamlets following paths, rural roads and interesting ways to ride a bicycle, Atapuerca and the Way of Santiago Camino de Santiago are only 5 km away. We have bicycles for rent

We are a couple of thirty-agers and also we live in the house, though our room, bath and lounge is different from that of the guests. The treatment is familiar and we try to give to every guest the degree of attention they want, without overwhelming.

We have wide knowledge on the province, so we advise you in order that you could take advantage of your visit adapted to your tastes: culture, activities, tranquility (according to your preferences). We proceed with the reservation for the visit to Atapuerca's Archaeological deposit and to the visit to the interpretation centre of the Roman Salt Mines of Poza de la Sal, we also advise on routes for hiking, visits and activities.

Since the house only has 4 rooms and we are not a restaurant, the service of lunch and dinners 'it' is 'personalized and we serve the same menu for all the retainers

3 kinds of menu:

- Normal (15€/person) main and second course, dessert, bread, drinks, coffee. Domestic food with products from our garden according to the season.

- raciones (20€/person) different local dishes served together: tortilla de patata, ensaladas, chorizo and morcilla cooked on the fire

- Special (40€/person) the most typical dish in Burgos: little lamb roast on an wood-fire oven, served with salad and some appetizers, bread, drinks (Ribera de Duero wine), dessert, coffee

All our menus usually finish with our homemade pacharán. (liquor)

We do NOT serve lunch from Monday to Friday (not festive), but if you are very interested we can arrange it.

We serve meals because there are no more establishments, neither bars nor restaurants. For the same reason also we serve drinks. In the nearby villages there are other offers and we can recommend you.
