The Yorkshire Rose is set in the heart of a rural spanish town yet still only 1 hours drive from the coast and a short walk into the mountains, which can be seen from our bar. We have ample parking.
Cehegin is on the Northwest of Murcia and is 592M above sea level.
Cehegin is famous for its orchards of soft fruits, olives and lemons.
You can also enjoy mountain landscapes,
valleys, reservoirs and forests.
The religious town of Caravaca is a short 15mins drive where sightseeing is a must and is a great historical town.
The spars of Mula are only 30mins drive away and neighbouring town of Bullas which is famous for its local produced wine and water fall it also has a good camping site.
In the past Cehegin's indurstry was shoemaking, even today cehegin has a number of shoe shops and the old industry carries on but in a smaller production.
Cehegin its self is an historic town which has features dating back to prehistoric time, the site of Begastri, you can see how the first inhabitants lived, you will see remains of the settlement and cave paintings.
