Ormond House is a large American style house on 4 acres in the beautiful rolling hills of the Wainui Valley. Wainui is an old farming community very popular for residents commuting to Auckland. We are only 35 minutes from Auckland and 50 minutes from the airport and are within easy reach of all major attractions in the Rodney District and beyond - Orewa Town and Beach, Albany Shopping Centre, East Coast beaches, Whangaparaoa Peninsula, Wenderholm National Park, Historical Puhoi and its cheeses, Waiwera Thermal Spa Resort, wine trails, fishing, golf and much more.

Free concerts every Sunday in the Auckland area from January to March.
The four acres have a two hole 75 metre fairway with bunkers and pond. There are four large bedrooms each with ensuite and walk in wardrobes. The entire house has underfloor heating. There is also a very large conservatory at the back of the house.

Guests have free use of the very large fitted kitchen with a choice of continental or full cooked breakfast. There is a large dining room plus lounge and family for guests to relax. The laundry is fully equipped and free to guests. Broadband internet facilities are also available free. There is a patio at the back of the house plus barbecue so you can enjoy the New Zealand weather.

There are three golf courses close by, Snowplanet an indoor ski slope, go-karting, horse riding, fishing, bush walks, lots of beaches and of course endless shopping. For those wishing to fly, the North Shore Aero Club is ten minutes away.

Your Hosts:- Martin and Bridie Butler are Irish. We have travelled extensively and have lived in Australia and Florida.

Beige Room has super-king bed and full size bathroom on the ground floor.

Orange Room has a king bed plus ensuite.

Purple Room has a queen bed plus a small attic room suitable for a child, also has an ensuite.

Green Room has a queen bed plus there is a single room off this which has a king single bed and ensuite.
