Have a leisurely break in one of the most beautiful countries in the world. From the highlands to the lowlands we are rewarded with the most stunning scenery, beautiful walkways and breathtaking Munro's.
Scotland is best known as ' a walkers paradise '.
We are situated in the historical Pictish village of Letham surrounded by rolling hills and beautiful scenery. For the ' golf and fishing wives and children ' who like to shop, not far from Letham by bus or car are the small towns of Forfar, Carnoustie, Arbroath and Dundee. You could also take a car, bus or train journey to the larger fashionable high streets of Glasgow, Edinburgh or Aberdeen.
There are some excellent golf courses in and around Angus, of which Carnoustie boasts the hosting of The European Golf Open Championships this year (2007). Also there is some fantastic fly fishing, course fishing and sea fishing available.
Dundee ' the city of discovery' has many attractions, RSS Discovery, Captain Scott's ship, was built in Dundee and launched in 1901. It now forms the centrepiece of Discovery Point & RSS Discovery, at Discovery Quay. You can explore the ship, 'travel' to Antarctica in the Polarama Gallery and find out about one of the greatest stories of exploration and courage ever told. At City Quay you'll find HM Frigate Unicorn, the oldest British-built ship still afloat. It was built at Chatham in 1824 for the Royal Navy, and carried 46 guns. With many other attractions in and around Angus we are sure you will enjoy your stay with us in Scotland.
