The beautiful Fourwinds B&B is next to the 9 hole Kyles of Bute Golf Course and is located on a section of the Cowal way.

From the B&B there are beautiful views down the Kyles of bute which can be enjoyed from many of the rooms & front deck.

The Area

Tighnabruaich Golf Course
The 9 hole Tighnabruaich Golf course is only a few steps away from Fourwinds and boasts beautiful views of the Kyles of Bute. The natural terrain of the course makes it a challenging but enjoyable round and at only £10 a round it is very affordable.

Shops & Places to eat
The villages of Tighnabruaich & Kames offer some great shops and superb places to eat & drink. In the village there is a gift shop, gallery, cafes & grocer. The main Pubs/Restaurants in the area are; Kames Hotel, An Lochan & The Oystercatcher

Walking & Cycling
The Tighnabruaich area has a wealth of walking routes including the Cowal Way which is a 47 mile walk presented in 6 separate sections with a total climb of 1540 meters.

There's a wonderful almost flat cycle run on a good surface the entire length of the shore of the North and West Kyles. And for the fit, there are plenty of hills.

Places to Visit
Inverary Castle & nearby 19th Century prison Inverary Jail are worth a visit.
