Carn Raineach B&B

Carn-Raineach is situated looking onto the Cullins and the Isle of Rassay. Our house was newly built in 2004.We have one family room which has a double and two single beds, we also let this room as a double or twin room.

The double room has a king size bed .These two rooms look across the sea onto Rassay. Our smaller room down stairs can be let as a double or twin, this room looks onto the hills.

We can put an extra bed in the rooms upstairs. All rooms are en-suite with showers. All rooms have tea & coffee making facilities, hair dryers & TV, ironing facility also. We can provide a travel cot. On arrival you are welcomed with a cup of tea/coffee and Seonags home baking.

We have drying facilities for wet clothing and for those travelling on motorbikes we have a shelter area for bikes. We provide full Scottish breakfast porridge, bacon, and sausages from our local butcher and the famous Stornoway black pudding, our own free range eggs, tomato& mushrooms.

You can sit and enjoy eating your breakfast in our newly built sun lounge looking at the stunning view.

We are only a twenty-minute walk to the Applecross Inn or we offer a lift to the Inn, there is also the Potting shed or flower tunnel for places to eat. There are a number of walks near by with panoramic views, the walk to Ard Ban takes you to the Coral beach there is also Sand beach. Pack lunches can be provided. You can take a drive to the picturesque village of Shieldaig, which has stunning views on the coastal route there. We are just over an hours drive to the Isle of Skye or why not visit Eilean Donan Castle.

For those who would like to take a leisurely look around Applecross we have mountain bikes for hire.
