Ardachy B&B
Set in the lovely countryside of the Black Isle Ardachy has a twin room and a family room with both a double and single bed.
Avoch harbour is just 15 minutes walk away where boat trips may be taken to see the Moray Firth Dolphins and Seals. Dolphins are also often seen from the beach at Chanonry Point. The area is also popular for bird watching and other wildlife spotting with the RSPB site at The Fairy Glen at nearby Rosemakie.
In addition to the water falls in The Fairy Glen we also have Rogie Falls within easy reach as is Ben Wyvis our nearest munro (mountain over 3000 feet high).
The Black Isle Brewery is nearby and for whisky enthusiasts the Dalmore, Glen Ord, Tomatin and Glenmorangie distilleries are within easy reach as are several others.
For those interested in History we are on the Pictish trail and nearby Fortrose and Cromarty holds lots of interest. From Comarty, in the summer, you can take the ferry to Nigg.
Their is a fine network of local paths for walkers and mountain bikers have the trails at Learnie Red Rock.
For those who prefer to tour by car there are a number of circular day trips that could take in the Northern Highlands, The Cairngorms, Loch Ness or Isle of Skye.
