Horse riding, walking, climbing, bird watching, fossil collecting, canoeing, diving, abseiling, wild life photography/painting all can be enjoyed on Skye, but the best thing to do on Skye is to explore, find a beautifull place, they are everywhere and dream.
LOUNGE
Sunny lounge and dining room overlooking the Glen, with books, maps, local information and fireplace.
Please note we have no TV and this is a smoke free house.
Our MEDITATION CHAMBER in the willow garden is the perfect spot to chill out, meditate, play music, exercise, dance, draw and dream.
The first thing you might notice is the peace, then the amazing sky and the colour and light show as sun sets over the giant cliffs, loch and Hebridean islands viewed from Glendale.
Golden and sea eagles, buzzards and song birds swoop and chatter, lapwings and curlew, forage in the moorland.
Glendale supports wild flowers, herbs, amazing bright mosses and lichens among wonderful wetland plants. Thrift and rockrose grow in the salty rock margins at the loch side.
Seals, whales, dolphins and basking sharks can be seen in the waters, all manner of fish and crustaceans and sea anemones at Neist Point, otter and stoat play shyly in the shadows
