Heathpark Lodge, Blairgowrie 4 Star Bed & Breakfast

Heathpark Lodge has been providing quality accommodation for over 12 years.

We offer two bedrooms for guests, one a twin-bedded room and the other a double-bedded room. Both rooms are ensuite.

Also we provide two lounges for guests. One lounge has a coal fire for cooler evenings - although the house is fully centrally heated and warm at all times. The other lounge is a delightful haven of peace and tranquillity and overlooks the garden, which has won many awards in the past years.

Television (with freeview)is available in both lounges along with a selection of DVDs. Also is a collection of music DVDs which guests may use.

The bedrooms have been furnished to a luxurious standard to ensure the comfort of our guests.

A hospitality tray is available in each lounge rather than bedrooms at our guests' requests. More relaxing to have refreshments watching the birds bathing in the waterfall!

Breakfast is varied and all tastes catered for including vegetarians. Local produce is used where possible. Breakfast is served in one of the lounges.

There is ample parking round the house and a garage available if requested.

Blairgowrie and the surrounding area offers much for the visitor. There are 4 golf courses within minutes drive and man more slightly further afield. St Andrews and Carnousite are less than an hour driving. Fishing is another popular sport in this area and there are 3 well-known Scottish rivers within 5 miles, the Ericht, the Tay and the Isla. Walking is most popular with the Grampian foothills and many well routed walks for all abilities. Glamis Castle (a must for visitors!) is 20 minutes drive and Scone Palace about the same. Both are historic and intriguing buildings of Scottish history. It is thought this house was built on the site of where Cumberland's army halted on the way to Culloden. When we were digging to install the flagpole we found what the local museum says is an army officer's medicine bottle which is in perfect condition. That would back up the theory of the above.
