At Woodside Farmhouse we offer friendly, informal hospitality. We hope you will enjoy a hot drink and some home baking in the sitting room on arrival.

We are less than 10 minutes from Ayr, yet the farmhouse is completely rural.

Woodside is central for Culzean Castle, Dean Castle and Brodick Castle on the Isle of Arran. We are 15 minutes from Glasgow Prestwick International Airport and pickups can be arranged.

Children are most welcome at Woodside and they can make the most of the freedom they will enjoy in complete safety, as Woodside is not a working Farm.

We have a wonderful play garden for the children, and a toy box in the sitting room. Or perhaps they would like to take a walk to the field and say hello to the ponies.

Internet facilities are available and there is ample off-road parking.

We hope you will enjoy an Aga cooked traditional Scottish breakfast, or perhaps something lighter from our breakfast menu. Breakfast is served from 7.30 am till 9.00 am in our well appointed dining room. For evening meals we have 3 pubs in the village offering good value meals. We have menus for you to see on our visitor table.

We have no curfew in the evening.

There is lots to do within easy reach of Woodside.

Culzean is only 30 minutes away, Brodick 45 minutes and then the ferry for 55 minutes. Dean Castle is 30 minutes away are all well worth a visit. All the castles have many events throughout the summer months.

We have three Championship Golf Courses in Ayrshire at Turnberry 30 minutes, Prestwick 15 minutes or Royal Troon 30 minutes, there are numerous other courses in the district and we can phone to book a game for you if you wish.

As you can see there is lots to keep you occupied in Ayrshire or perhaps you would like to do nothing more than sit in front of the fire and enjoy the peace and quiet.
