Spring bird migration including cranes, swans, geese, bluebirds, lazuli buntings, etc.
Summer swimming at nearby resorts, bike riding. Fall bird and deer hunting. Winter snowmobiling, cross country skiing, Pebble Creek Ski Resort for down hill skiing.
Geological marker where prehistoric Lake Boneville broke through and drained to the ocean leaving Great Salt Lake.
Preston 25 miles south, where Napolean Dynamite was filmed. Pocatello 50 miles north, Idaho State University. Logan 50 miles south, Utah State University.
Lava Hot Springs 35 miles NE. Maple Grove Hot Springs 35 miles East. Downata Hot Springs 5miles North. Can arrange for wagon or sleigh rides drawn by Belgan Horses. Very rural area with views of the Rocky Mountains.
The only house on a dirt road with 480 acres, no close neighbors. Occasional elk and moose. Deer frequently sighted, coyotes often heard at night.
We have three horses with two new foals expected this spring. On a clear night it's great for star gazing, telescope. Outdoor pets welcome. No indoor smoking.
You can raid the garden in season, bring your own picnic, or use our dutch ovens for dinner.
