The Market Street Inn has offered the finest in Central Illinois accommodations since 1994. Your innkeepers, Myrna and Joseph Hauser returned to their childhood hometown to watch over aging parents and embarked on an adventure of saving an historical home and creating a luxury inn.

We currently offer 14 guest rooms, all with at least Queen bed, some with King bed. Each of our guest rooms has a private bath, most with shower over whirlpool tub for two and some with shower only. Many of our guest rooms have either gas log or electric fireplaces. We have high speed internet broadcast wireless throughout the facility. Furnished with many period pieces, quality reproductions and priceless, handmade rugs, our spacious guest rooms are warm and friendly and welcome your occupancy.

Our main house has 8 beautifully appointed guest rooms and features our dining room where all of our guests are served, at fireside when appropriate. The Carriage House has two of our guest rooms and is located directly behind the main house. Helen's Suite, an ADA approved handicap accessible suite, is in the Carriage House as is our Grand Deluxe Hunt Club. The Hunt Club features two fireplaces, kitchenette, large screen TV and is a generous 550 sq. ft.

Our Annex property, a 1913 Arts and Crafts home, holds our other 4 guest rooms. This property is located across the street from our main house and guests come to the main house for breakfast and social functions.

A full hearty breakfast is included along with your stay. In the late afternoon or early evening we hope you will find time to enjoy a social time featuring fruit and cheese and wine or beer.
