Brookhill Bed and Breakfast overlooks and borders on 100's of acres of protected meadows and woodlands with miles of trails for hiking or biking. In winter, ski from the door on 65km of groomed cross-country ski trails.

Brookhill Bed and Breakfast was built in the 1920's as a summer studio for a Boston photographer. Her photographs are part of the decor, which features original art, antiques, crystal chandeliers, and gleaming hardwood floors with oriental carpets. The suite is filled with sunlight from morning to night because of an eastern, western and southern exposure. Windows span from floor to ceiling and the views are outstanding with Mt. Washington as the centerpiece.

Seven major ski areas are within 15 miles of this over-the-top bed and breakfast and North Conway is known for its charming village shops and extensive factory outlet shopping, all tax-free. Golf, canoeing, kayaking, rafting, rock climbing, hiking, skiing, snow shoeing and ice climbing are popular outdoor recreations in Mt. Washington Valley.

Brookhill BB's innkeeper, Rod Forsman, is an experienced hiker. He has completed the Applachaian Trail 3 times, hiked New England's 100 highest peaks, all the 4,000-foot mountains in the Adirondack the White Mountains and more. He is happy to guide hikes and advise guests on hikes that will meet their needs.

Innkeeper Susan Forsman is a quilt artist and her quilts are displayed at Brookhill Bed and Breakfast. She also offers quilt workshops as well as informal explanations of her original quilting techniques.
