Ambroselli's Villa Serendip is a romantic Finger Lakes Bed and Breakfast in upstate New York, situated in the heart of Finger Lakes wine country, just off the I-390 and I-86 Expressway, on your way to the historic village of Naples, NY.

Convenient to Letchworth State Park, Canandaigua and Keuka Lakes, and all Finger Lakes attractions the home was built for Samuel Fitch Woodworth, a descendant of one of America's first families.

It has been grandly returned to its original splendour, and is now one of the most enjoyable places to stay in the Finger Lakes.

This romantic bed and breakfast combines Victorian elegance and charm with a warm and friendly atmosphere that is intended to make you feel welcome.

There is no stuffiness, no reserved or pretentious attitudes, no Please don't touch that is an antique, but instead a sincere do make yourselves to home ambiance. I love what I do and I love each and every guest that passes through the portals of this awesome house.

It is not a showcase, it is home and I would love to share it with each and everyone of you.

What I do, I do because I love to do it. That is my job description. It is the showcase of my heart and hopefully it is reflected throughout the entire B&B.

So .. Each spacious room is a unique experience in pampered luxury. Carefully chosen Victorian themes bring together authentic period antiques, family heirlooms, and exacting reproductions to create the mood of long-age charm and romance and to make you fall in love while you are here. After all I do want you to come back again and soon.

The five spacious guestrooms are elegantly appointed with a blend of antiques and special pieces selected by Fran for that particular room.

They each offer a private bath. Daily chamber service is provided, as well as a full complement of bath amenities. Hair dryers, ironing board and iron and other sundries are available should you need them.

Queen and/or king sized beds with reading lamps are standard for each of our rooms. Pillow topped mattresses or firm top quality mattresses will ensure you get a wonderful night's rest.

Breakfast is served by candlelight in the formal dining room, always at the convenience of our guests.

Or if you wish to have breakfast in the privacy of your room we can arrange it with advanced notice.

Groups of up to 25 can be comfortably served at any time of year for special events such as Bridal Showers, Intimate Weddings, Murder Mysteries, Red Hat Society Get-togethers, etc. Although we may serve you on fine china with sterling and crystal it is not because we are pretentious but merely because we enjoy using our collections for the pleasure of our guests.

The dining room opens to the parlour through large 8-foot pocket doors and to the breakfast room, which we sometimes use during the winter months when we have less than a full house of guests. All of these rooms have 10-foot ceilings.

There was no grand staircase, no marble mantles or elegant marble fireplace but only a beautiful octagonal bay window area through which the sunlight streamed. The gas fireplace was added and the room has become a gathering place where our guests converge to share a glass of wine, play the Victorian pump organ, or to join in warm and friendly conversation.

Come curl up by the fireplace with a good book or share a bottle of wine from one of the Finger Lakes wineries. Spend a while perusing our photo album of before and after pictures of the Woodworth House restoration.

If you are interested in history Fran delights in telling the stories of the serendipitous happenings involving how she came to become an innkeeper of this romantic Victorian bed and breakfast. There is also a wine cellar with a television (should you wish to catch up on the news or see your favourite sports activity), and a refrigerator stocked with complimentary soft drinks where you can also keep your take outs and leftovers from your culinary feast at a nearby restaurant.

The wine cellar has challenging jigsaw puzzles, games, and a plethora of brochures of things to do in the Finger Lakes.
