Our philosophy is simple, we want to cater to your needs as our guest, whether that means pampering you throughout your stay, or just giving you the time you want away from it all.

Each day at Colvin Farm starts with a gourmet breakfast served either in the dining room or on the screened porch.

And no matter what your plans for the day include, you will want to make time to enjoy the quiet solitude of Colvin Farm and the pristine beauty that surrounds us.

Our spacious porches, swings, or the cozy hammock at the log cabin are great for relaxing. You might even be lucky enough to spot a deer, hummingbirds, or fireflies while you are with us.

End your day by watching a brilliant sunset or marveling at the spectacular night sky.

At Colvin Farm Bed & Breakfast, you can choose from two elegantly appointed bedrooms in the main house or our cottage which is situated a short walk from the house and ideal for those who want complete privacy.

All guests have access to the parlor and dining room in the main house in addition to a large screened porch spanning the entire back of the house and a front porch complete with rocking chair and swing.

We have taken great strides to maintain the historic charm of the home while providing you with the finest in accommodations.

Each of our guestrooms have been elegantly restored and decorated You can choose from the following rooms:

Hannah's Room
County elegance describes this restful yellow guestroom. The stately four-poster queen bed will add new meaning to climbing into bed at night.

This room also contains the stairway to the attic, but not to worry, there have been no reports of anything going bump in the night.

The private bath to this room has a large shower, a vanity, and pedestal sink.

Patience's Room
From the massive farmhouse queen bed to the timeless toile accents, cottage charm describes this comfortable blue room, which will have you feeling anything but blue.

Floral draped windows afford wonderful views of the farm and surrounding countryside. The spacious private bath has a large shower and two pedestal sinks.

Located between these rooms is a butler's pantry with a refrigerator, coffee pot, tea kettle, and telephone. Soft drinks and bottled water are complimentary.

All rooms have TV/VCR and there is a video library.

The Cottage
Step into your own little world away from it all. You may never want to leave the Cottage at Colvin Farm.

Highlighted by a wood-burning fireplace, it is furnished with comfortable chairs, a decoratively painted queen bed and dresser and a TV/VCR. This little home has a bath and shower and pedestal sink as well as an efficiency kitchen that includes a microwave, refrigerator, dishes, and utensils.

Guests staying in the cottage have the option of having a breakfast basket delivered to their door.
